Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Corsican Landscape by Iain MacNab was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 416.00 (€ 393.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Iain MacNab have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deya, Majorca in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Corsican Landscape von Iain MacNab kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 416,00 (€ 393,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iain MacNab auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deya, Majorca im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92).
