In August 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Harvest bouquet by Iain MacNab. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 960.00 (€ 1,427.58), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Iain MacNab; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Deya, Majorca sold at auction in February 2013 with the realized price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im August 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Harvest bouquet von Iain MacNab zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.427,58) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Iain MacNab; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Deya, Majorca im Februar 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92).
