Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work A Mediterranean Port by Iain MacNab. The price achieved of USD 384.00 (€ 362.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Iain MacNab have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Deya, Majorca in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Mediterranean Port von Iain MacNab zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 384,00 (€ 362,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iain MacNab auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Deya, Majorca im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92).
