Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Iain MacNab could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Portrait of a gentleman, bust-length, in a trench coat and hat changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 948.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iain MacNab - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deya, Majorca, which sold at auction in February 2013 for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,177.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Iain MacNab konnte im September 2008 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Für andere Arbeiten von Iain MacNab mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deya, Majorca beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.177,92) versteigert wurde.
