Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dermaga tua (Old pier) by I Made Djirna was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. It achieved a price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,233.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by I Made Djirna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Demo I, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dermaga tua (Old pier) von I Made Djirna wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.233,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von I Made Djirna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Demo I beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70) versteigert wurde.
