Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Sandikala by I Made Djirna for HKD 11,970.00 (€ 1,300.25). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by I Made Djirna achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Demo I in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sandikala von I Made Djirna für HKD 11.970,00 (€ 1.300,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Zao Wou-Ki to Le Pho bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von I Made Djirna erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Demo I im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70).
