Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A kneeling woman by I Made Djirna was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. It changed hands for a price of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,201.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 24,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by I Made Djirna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Demo I, which sold at auction in May 2010 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 14,284.70).

Die Arbeit A kneeling woman von I Made Djirna kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.201,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 24.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von I Made Djirna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Demo I beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 14.284,70) versteigert wurde.
