Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Human by Hwang Yong-Yop was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2017. The auction ended at the price of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,210.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hwang Yong-Yop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work HUMAN in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 64,229.93).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Human von Hwang Yong-Yop wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.210,60) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hwang Yong-Yop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit HUMAN im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 64.229,93).
