In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work HUMAN by Hwang Yong-Yop. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 450,000.00 (€ 54,835.51), 29% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hwang Yong-Yop have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 562,500.00 (€ 64,229.93) in May 2017 for the work HUMAN.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit HUMAN von Hwang Yong-Yop zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 450.000,00 (€ 54.835,51) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Hwang Yong-Yop haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 64.229,93) im Mai 2017 für die Arbeit HUMAN beobachtet.
