This artwork by Hurvin Anderson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Paradise sold for GBP 4,096.00 (€ 4,096.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hurvin Anderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audition in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,369,000.00 (€ 8,730,274.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hurvin Anderson erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Paradise für GBP 4.096,00 (€ 4.096,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hurvin Anderson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audition im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.369.000,00 (€ 8.730.274,76).
