Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bath Tub by Hurvin Anderson was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 69,600.00 (€ 79,183.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 55,000.00 – 75,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hurvin Anderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audition in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,369,000.00 (€ 8,730,274.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bath Tub von Hurvin Anderson wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 79.183,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 55.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hurvin Anderson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audition im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.369.000,00 (€ 8.730.274,76).
