Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled Still Life by Hunt Slonem for USD 140.25 (€ 131.10). This price was achieved in the auction Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hunt Slonem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled Still Life von Hunt Slonem für USD 140,25 (€ 131,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
