In July 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Toucans by Hunt Slonem. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,287.50 (€ 6,985.42), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hunt Slonem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).

Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Toucans von Hunt Slonem zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 6.985,42) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
