Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Moon by Hunt Slonem was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,453.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hunt Slonem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Moon von Hunt Slonem kam im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.453,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
