Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction HEATWAVE: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Hugo McCloud. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,764.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo McCloud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work To Be Titled, 2014 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 75,312.50 (€ 65,053.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion HEATWAVE: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hugo McCloud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.764,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo McCloud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit To Be Titled, 2014 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.312,50 (€ 65.053,55).
