31 1/2 x 31 1/2 x 1 1/4 in (80 x 80 x 3.2 cm)
all signed and numbered 98/200 in pencil, numbered 98 on the colophon, published by Éditions Denise René, Paris (with their blindstamp), all generally in very good condition, contained in the original light blue linen covered portfolio case.

Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Relation Couleur by Hugo Demarco was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in New York in October 2013. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,206.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hugo Demarco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Relief À Deplacement Continuelle in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,059.13).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Relation Couleur von Hugo Demarco wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.206,86) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hugo Demarco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Relief À Deplacement Continuelle im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.059,13).
