In the Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works auction, the work Australian The Pack Horse Drover sold for AUD 12,000.00 (€ 7,175.72) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugh Sawrey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Shearing On The Boards At Bindi-Bango, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 45,600.00 (€ 27,267.74).
