Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2007 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works, which included the work Australian Conkelberry About To Muster The Killers In The Alexandria Downs Bullock Paddock by Hugh Sawrey. The price achieved of AUD 5,760.00 (€ 3,444.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hugh Sawrey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Shearing On The Boards At Bindi-Bango in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 45,600.00 (€ 27,267.74).

Im August 2007 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Conkelberry About To Muster The Killers In The Alexandria Downs Bullock Paddock von Hugh Sawrey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 5.760,00 (€ 3.444,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
