Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sitting under Thatched Hut by Huang Yao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,561.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Yao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Riding the Dragon, which sold at auction in November 2012 for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 73,374.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sitting under Thatched Hut von Huang Yao kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.561,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Yao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Riding the Dragon beobachtet, die im November 2012 für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 73.374,33) versteigert wurde.
