Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Meet up in the Temple by Huang Yao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,456.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Yao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riding the Dragon in November 2012 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 73,374.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Meet up in the Temple von Huang Yao kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.456,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riding the Dragon im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 73.374,33).
