Auction result well in line with expectations
The work One Line Shan-Shui (Two Works) by Huang Yan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2014. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,478.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Yan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tattoo Series, Plants in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit One Line Shan-Shui (Two Works) von Huang Yan kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.478,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Yan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tattoo Series, Plants im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
