Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hu Yongkai could be acquired at Christies in London in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction, the work Sacred Bath changed hands for GBP 756.00 (€ 880.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yongkai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Yongkai konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition wechselte die Arbeit Sacred Bath für GBP 756,00 (€ 880,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
