Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Maternal Love by Hu Yongkai. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 25,200.00 (€ 3,019.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yongkai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maternal Love von Hu Yongkai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 25.200,00 (€ 3.019,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
