Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Lady at the Door by Hu Yongkai was worth HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,892.89) to a buyer in August this year. This price was achieved in the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hu Yongkai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Lady at the Door von Hu Yongkai war einem Käufer im August diesen Jahres HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.892,89) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
