Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Playing with the Bird by Hu Yongkai for GBP 504.00 (€ 587.15). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hu Yongkai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady in April this year with an auction result of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 36,763.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Playing with the Bird von Hu Yongkai für GBP 504,00 (€ 587,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hu Yongkai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 36.763,04).
