Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hisao Dōmoto achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2018. In the POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 9,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hisao Dōmoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hisao Dōmoto erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hisao Dōmoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12).
