Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (Solutions De Continuités) by Hisao Dōmoto. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,250.00. Admittedly, works by Hisao Dōmoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Solutions De Continuités) von Hisao Dōmoto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hisao Dōmoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12).
