Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Structure Of The Chromosphere by Hisao Dōmoto was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 13,490.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hisao Dōmoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Structure Of The Chromosphere von Hisao Dōmoto wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 13.490,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hisao Dōmoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12).
