Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hisao Dōmoto was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 32,760.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 26,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hisao Dōmoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hisao Dōmoto kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 32.760,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 26.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hisao Dōmoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12) versteigert wurde.
