Auction result misses estimated price range
In September last year a collector was able to acquire the work Sans titre by Hisao Dōmoto for EUR 3,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hisao Dōmoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 86,686.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sans titre von Hisao Dōmoto für EUR 3.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hisao Dōmoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 86.686,12).
