Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Dutch Windmill by Herman Bieling was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2004. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,629.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Herman Bieling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Heads, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 8,962.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Dutch Windmill von Herman Bieling kam im Februar 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.629,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Herman Bieling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two Heads beobachtet, die im November 2003 für EUR 8.962,50 versteigert wurde.
