Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Nasturtium and poppies by Herman Bieling for EUR 1,792.50. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Herman Bieling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Heads in November 2003 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nasturtium and poppies von Herman Bieling für EUR 1.792,50 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Herman Bieling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Heads im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
