Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.886,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry John Stock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 79.311,79).
