Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,245.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Admittedly, works by Henry John Stock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Uplifting of Psyche 'By the help of a divinity not our own' - Virgil in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 79,311.79).
