Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Le Bassin principal du parc de Marquayrol à Labastide-du-vert by Henri Martin. The price achieved of USD 807,000.00 (€ 752,026.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00. Other works by Henri Martin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work La Joie De Vivre was auctioned for USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,380,216.76).

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bassin principal du parc de Marquayrol à Labastide-du-vert von Henri Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 807.000,00 (€ 752.026,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Martin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit La Joie De Vivre für USD 1.706.500,00 (€ 1.380.216,76) versteigert.
