Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work La Promenade, From: L’Album D’Estampes Originales De La Galerie Vollard by Henri Edmond Cross. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,032.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Edmond Cross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Faux Poivrier (Provence) in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 3,150,000.00 (€ 2,583,237.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Promenade, From: L’Album D’Estampes Originales De La Galerie Vollard von Henri Edmond Cross zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.032,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Edmond Cross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Faux Poivrier (Provence) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.150.000,00 (€ 2.583.237,66).
