It achieved a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,123.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by Helen Layfield Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Our First Morning in Blackpool in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 94,100.00 (€ 131,764.35).

Die Arbeit We Had Been For a Long Walk von Helen Layfield Bradley wurde im Dezember 2012 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.123,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Layfield Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Our First Morning in Blackpool im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.100,00 (€ 131.764,35).
