Christmas/would soon be here, and the day being/bright and clear, everyone, including/Miss Carter(who wore pink) and Mr Taylor/(the bank Manager) thought it a good idea/to get our decorations gathered together/in case it should snow again. In the Modern/British Art Online auction, the work Going Home sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,216.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helen Layfield Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Our First Morning in Blackpool in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 94,100.00 (€ 131,764.35).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Layfield Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Our First Morning in Blackpool im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.100,00 (€ 131.764,35).
