Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Miss Carter And Mr Taylor; Goodness Cried Aunt Frances by Helen Layfield Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,267.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helen Layfield Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Our First Morning in Blackpool in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 94,100.00 (€ 131,764.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miss Carter And Mr Taylor; Goodness Cried Aunt Frances von Helen Layfield Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 30.267,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Layfield Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Our First Morning in Blackpool im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 94.100,00 (€ 131.764,35).
