Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2010 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British& Irish Art, which included the work One Friday in June by Helen Layfield Bradley. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 38,019.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helen Layfield Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Our First Morning in Blackpool, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 94,100.00 (€ 131,764.35).
