A top price for Harvey Quaytman
In December 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session, which included the work Walnut, Slate and Clay by Harvey Quaytman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 39,149.63), 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Walnut, Slate and Clay is even the most expensive work of art by Harvey Quaytman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walnut, Slate and Clay von Harvey Quaytman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 39.149,63) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Walnut, Slate and Clay sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Harvey Quaytman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
