Auction result well in line with expectations
The work My blue rider by Harvey Quaytman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,553.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harvey Quaytman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Walnut, Slate and Clay in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,880.00 (€ 39,149.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit My blue rider von Harvey Quaytman kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.553,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harvey Quaytman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Walnut, Slate and Clay im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 39.149,63).
