The work 'For All the Fathers' by Harvey Quaytman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. The result of SEK 70,000.00 (€ 5,928.27) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Harvey Quaytman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Walnut, Slate and Clay in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,880.00 (€ 39,149.63).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit 'For All the Fathers' von Harvey Quaytman kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 70.000,00 (€ 5.928,27) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harvey Quaytman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Walnut, Slate and Clay im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 39.149,63).
