Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Harvey Quaytman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2021. In the Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063 auction, the work "Chrome Express" sold for SEK 110,000.00 (€ 11,074.27) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harvey Quaytman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Walnut, Slate and Clay, which sold at auction in December 2020 for USD 47,880.00 (€ 39,149.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Harvey Quaytman erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Olle Emanuelsson Collection H063 wurde die Arbeit "Chrome Express" für SEK 110.000,00 (€ 11.074,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Harvey Quaytman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Walnut, Slate and Clay beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für USD 47.880,00 (€ 39.149,63) versteigert wurde.
