The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,577.06), 47% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hanson Puthuff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snowbound in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.577,06) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hanson Puthuff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snowbound im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 38.798,70).
