Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Magic of the Morning Sun by Hanson Puthuff was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. The price achieved of USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,700.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hanson Puthuff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snowbound in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Magic of the Morning Sun von Hanson Puthuff kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.700,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hanson Puthuff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snowbound im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 38.798,70).
