Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Afternoon Moon by Hanson Puthuff was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The price achieved of USD 10,837.50 (€ 10,285.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hanson Puthuff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snowbound, which sold at auction in June 2002 for USD 38,240.00 (€ 38,798.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Afternoon Moon von Hanson Puthuff kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.837,50 (€ 10.285,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hanson Puthuff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snowbound beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für USD 38.240,00 (€ 38.798,70) versteigert wurde.
