Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Black water by Hans van Hoek for NLG 23,404.00 (€ 9,986.85). This price was achieved in the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of NLG 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Hans van Hoek have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2000 by the work Black water at NLG 39,786.80 (€ 16,977.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Black water von Hans van Hoek für NLG 23.404,00 (€ 9.986,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hans van Hoek wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Black water mit NLG 39.786,80 (€ 16.977,65).
