However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Kanters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erotic landscape (triptych), which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 13,145.00.

Die Arbeit Clown Met Zelfportret von Hans Kanters kam im November 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.182,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Kanters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Erotic landscape (triptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 13.145,00 versteigert wurde.
