In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Untitled - a dyptich by Hans Kanters. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,250.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Kanters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Erotic landscape (triptych), which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 13,145.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled - a dyptich von Hans Kanters zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.250,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Kanters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Erotic landscape (triptych) beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 13.145,00 versteigert wurde.
